| W.E.D.A.T. Workforce and Economic Development Area Team |
| GOAL The goal of the Workforce and Economic Development Team is to positively impact poverty levels and increase economic self-sufficiency among the Hispanic/Latino community of Northeast Ohio through access to employment opportunities as well as the advancement of the creation and growth of Hispanic/Latino-owned businesses. OBJECTIVES Objective One of the Workforce and Economic Development Team is to provide the Hispanic/Latino community of Northeast Ohio with access to employment opportunities through the first Yo Hablo Español job fair held in the area. This job fair will host 25 hiring employers that will interview 350 individuals, with the expectation of at least 15% of the individuals being hired. Objective Two of the Workforce and Economic Development Team is to annually hold the Yo Hablo Español job fair with increasing objectives. Objective Three of the Workforce and Economic Development Team is to create a Hispanic/Latino loan fund. Objective Four of the Workforce and Economic Development Team is to form a Hispanic/Latino contractors association.
