GOAL
Due to the increased rate of foreclosures throughout Ohio and Ohio’s Hispanic/Latino community and the fact that many Hispanics/Latinos have fallen prey to questionable mortgage products, the goal of the Community Development Team is to increase the awareness of foreclosure prevention programs for Hispanics/Latinos. and well-being of a community.

OBJECTIVES
Objective One of the Community Development Team is to create four partnerships with city, county, and state homeownership programs and HUD-certified non- profit housing counseling agencies in an effort to increase awareness and education of foreclosure prevention programs for Hispanics/Latinos in Northern Ohio. These programs will administer foreclosure prevention classes and will serve at least 60 people per year.

Objective Two of the Community Development Team is to continue to hold an Annual Latino Community Fair where diverse for-profit and non-profit organizations, including foreclosure prevention organizations, will exhibit and perform outreach to the 300+ attendees.
